Shelter Medicine
Let's eliminate euthanizing healthy animals waiting for a foster or adoption. Please consider supporting shelter medicine. Join us in foster and adoption programs by committing to what we can do NOW to prepare for the challenges animals will continue to face in the USA.
Home-finding incentivization programs can help alleviate some of the pressure on shelters.
How can we together bridge human loneliness with animal homelessness by incentivizing animal fostering and adoptions?

Affiliative Leadership Style
The affiliative leadership style, called Collaborative Leadership, encourages agreement and cooperative relationships within and between teams. This style gains loyalty and support to achieve goals by focusing on people. Affiliative leaders inspire and develop positive working relationships between diverse groups.
Democratic Leadership Style
The democratic leadership style involves the people they lead and frequently ask for feedback and input from subordinates. They encourage conversations with everyone on the team regarding how to get things done. Team building is essential in this style and is considered a diplomatic way of addressing goals and deadlines.
Pacesetting Leadership Style
The pacesetting leadership style expects results sometimes under challenging deadlines, where leaders often jump in to finish the project. While the pacesetter style effectively drives results, it is also stressful. Elon Musk and Steve Jobs were pacesetters who set high standards for team members to run fast and hard to the finish line.
This collaborative style encourages cooperative relationships within and between teams by strategically focusing on people who gain loyalty and support to move forward.

Pacesetting is a high-standard approach that holds others accountable for the work they produce through rewards for meeting goals, standards, and deadlines that are sometimes seemingly impossible to achieve.
Think Elon Musk and Steve Jobs.
